* Flexi-Fit Automatic Diverter , Rubber Hose Seal , Fill Hose , Hole Saw Set , and Winter Cap - Provides easy tank installation and effective diversion back through regular drainage channels once tank fills. Installation Rating: Easy. Installation Tools Required: Drill, Screwdriver (Phillips).
* Aluminum In-Line Manual Diverter - If you elect NOT to go with the Flexi-Fit Diverter, we recommend using our manual in-line diverter for easy winterization. When cold weather hits, simply turn the diverter channel to route stormwater back down standard drainage channels. Installation Rating: Medium Difficulty. Installation Tools Required: Hacksaw/Sawzall, Drill/Screwdriver.
Q: Can the tanks be painted?
A: Yes, but plastic is a difficult surface for paint adhesion. If you are wanting to paint your tank, we recommend using a bonding primer as a base, then applying your exterior paint over that (either latex or oil-based). Also, it is a good idea to have your tank in place before painting it -- moving it around after painting will undoubtedly cause scratching. Finally, be prepared to touch up the tank every now and then (usually once every couple years) to keep it looking solid. It shouldn't require a whole new coat -- just touch-ups.
Q: Do you ship your above-ground tanks?
A: Yes. Please call for freight quote.
