    1. worked perfect!

Thanks! Works perfect! Fast shipping! on 10th May 2018

    2. perfect replacement

I ordered this to replace the broken one on my rain barrel. It arrived very promptly and is the exact right size. The previous one lasted about 5 years, so pretty sturdy. on 16th Nov 2017

    3. Gives you many barrel placement options

I have 7 rain barrels. Four are clustered near my garden at the house corner and the others are placed around the rest of the house. The hoses are very versatile to allow a barrel to be placed farther away from the downspout if needed..and I did for 2. Other than removing the diverter in the winter, I leave everything else intact. These hoses hold up great season after season.

    4. used with pvc

Connecting to a 300 Gallon tote, the flex hose is too short. However, it is nice to connect up to 1" pvc for ease of taking the lid off the tote and etc. on 24th Jul 2017

    5. So simple

In the past I've used PVC piping to pipe from the down spout diverter to a rain barrel, until I tried a flexi-fit diverter fill hose. I will use the flexi-fit 100% of the time in the future. Absolutely simple and it allows for the barrel movement when it fills. on 5th Jul 2017

    6. Hose review

The hose installed with ease and fits into rubber seals as described. on 5th Apr 2017

    7. Easy great

I bought the hose after buying diverter after being unable to find hose connector at local DIY or Home Depot. It took me 20 minutes to do everything (including all hole drilling) to hook-up to my rain barrel two days before we got rain. During the rain my 50 gallon barrel was full in under an hour and no overflow. Can't be more impressed w/this system. on 24th Nov 2016

    8. Very simple and effective

I am so pleased with how well this system works! I also have the diverters (2 in one downspout) that I installed and thought that I might be able to work out some way to use them without the flexible pipe, but couldn't find anything. I have 2 Rain Wizard rainbarrels and drilled holes in the catchscreens, with the same drillbit that I used for the diverters, to insert the pipes, then put duct tape around to seal out mosquitoes. It isn't the prettiest arrangement, but it works great! I am a 60ish something woman, and I had to plan it out for a while before I figured out what I thought would be the best way to set up things. Took about 15 minutes to drill holes, etc. I have them at a corner of my carport next to a downspout, about 3 ft off the ground, so gravity feed works great. Thanks for a very innovative and easy to use product! I looked at all the different options from other brands, and this one by far looked the easiest. on 20th Jun 2016

    9. Love it! Works great!

I love the whole system. I have 3 rain barrels now, all hooked together and to a drip irrigation system. This is the least expensive method I could find for rain barrels, and it works great! on 3rd Jul 2015

    10. Didn't fit

Since this product description had zero information about the diameter of the tube ends, I just assumed that all such rain barrel tubes ends were uniform. They are not. These tube ends were 1 inch diameter. The diverter that I have installed requires something a little bigger. I had to cut the tube end and jerry-rig it to fit. Hopefully it will. on 15th May 2015

Simple, best way to connect rain barrel to downspout: Downspout diverter Introducing Rain Brothers' new automatic downspout diverter and DIY rain barrel kit for use in creating your own rainwater harvesting system. We at Rain Brothers, LLC have been designing, constructing, and installing rainwater harvesting systems -- both residential- and commercial-scale -- in the Ohio Region for over eight years, and we have used virtually every rainwater downspout diverter on the market. With the diverters on the market, there are recurring problems, including: 1) Difficult installation 2) Insufficient inlet size into the barrel/tank 3) Insufficient overflow, causing diverter to back up drainage 4) Working only with the smallest downspouts (i.e., 2"x3") Our new diverter addresses these issues and offers a thoughtful, high-quality, affordable solution. For under $30, you get: *Three hole saws (for drilling/installing valves and downspout diverter) *3/4" gate valve/garden hose valve *3/4" drain nipple with cap *Two threaded rubber grommets for water-tight and easy installation of valve and drain plug *1-1/2" rubber grommet for water-tight inlet into tank/barrel *3' of flexible hose to link barrel/tank to downspout diverter *Rubber "automatic" downspout diverter (works with 2"x3", 3"x4", 3" round, and 5" commercial downspouts) *One "do not drink water" label for your new rainwater harvesting system For more information, check out our website (, or click our youtube profile to see our complete DIY rain barrel construction/installation video.
