PROTECT YOUR PUMP

For use with our Franklin Electric Cistern Pump or any well/water pump, this device can be wired in between the pump and the electric panel and is used to detect abnormal changes in pump motor activity (i.e., when well or cistern is dry) and is therefore used to protect the pump motor. We HIGHLY recommend the PumpTec in situations where you have a low-producing well and are trying to create a well back-up system or reservoir. Contact us for more information or for system design.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Franklin PumpTec relay works with either 115V/230V submersible pumps (up to 1.5HP) and protects pumps from dry-well, dead-head, jammed impeller, rapid-cycling, and overvoltage/undervoltage, whether the pressure switch is mounted before or after our unit. This microcomputer-based pump protection device can interrupt power to the motor whenever the load drops quickly or below a preset level. Model allows you to easily adjust the sensitivity settings. Indicator lights on the cover help provide complete system status.
