This kit includes all parts needed to add a state-of-the-art diverter system to a rain barrel.
The RainRouter Multi-Function Diverter System can be used to send rainwater from a downspout to multiple collection spots. The RainRouter system lets you connect two garden hoses, a garden hose and a rain barrel, or two rain barrels to a single installed diverter.
A rain barrel can also be located to a more convenient location, such as the center of a garden, using a garden hose to connect the rain barrel to the downspout.
Shipping is only $5.00 per kit for U.S. orders! International orders will be charged an additional shipping charge depending on the order size and address, after an order is placed.
I have tried several different systems to divert rain water into barrels and this one takes WAY less time than any of the competitors' systems. It took me 2 hours to hook up the Mr. Fiskars rain diverter. It took 10 minutes to hook up this one.
The only negatives I have with this system are:
-Loosing the circle cut-out during installation. After drilling the hole, I lost the metal cut-out down the downspout, never to be seen again.
-No filtration system once installed. I have gutter guards on the gutters at my house at home but on my rental house I do not have guards, so leaves and stuff fall down and get caught. Gratefully, it is easy to pull the unit out and clear out the drain. Daniel Read on 20th Jun 2017
Surprisingly easy to hookup. Had a small rain shower and filled up barrel quickly. Didnt give five stars because a little water seaps out the diverter hole in downspout. Overall great product. All parts and tools need were provided. Greg on 15th Mar 2017
Easy install. Works great! Keri on 9th May 2016
Consider me a believer in this product. I don't know what I was expecting for the price, but I am impressed with the quality of the fittings and the valve. The instructions are mostly clear, the hole saws seem to be of good quality, and all the pieces fit tightly.
I had a little issue that the hose/fittings were a little tight, but overall I've had no issues. Now it's been two weeks... and no rain... yet.
Highly recommended! Unknown on 7th Apr 2016
