With the diverters on the market, there are recurring problems, including:
1) Difficult installation
2) Insufficient inlet size into the barrel/tank
3) Insufficient overflow, causing diverter to back up drainage
4) Working only with the smallest downspouts (i.e., 2"x3")
The Universal FlexiFit Downspout Diverter Kit addresses these issues and offers a thoughtful, high-quality, affordable solution. It connects your existing rain barrel to a high-quality downspout diverter system.
For under $30, you get:
*Two hole saws for drilling/installing valves and downspout diverter (2-1/8", 1-1/2")
*1-1/2" rubber seal for water-tight inlet into tank/barrel (note: hose must be installed through side of barrel for overflow mechanism to work properly)
*31" accordion style Flexifit fill hose to link barrel/tank to downspout diverter
*Rubber Flexi-Fit downspout diverter : choose either Standard 2x3", Rectangular 3x4", or Round (3" and 4" round downspouts). Click here for more information on the Round Downspout Diverter.
*Two self-tapping screws
*A winterizing cap for quick and easy winterization of your downspout.Flexi-Fit Downspout Diverter installs in three easy steps:

Just AWESOME
Bought this because my wife decided she wanted a rain barrel. So easy to set up and use. Rained the next day and captured so much water on its first use. Sharing the info with friends on facebook so they get a chance to do this in their gardens also.

Reasonably-Priced, Well-Designed and Easy to Install Rain Barrel Filling Kit
The kit had all the items needed, including the hole-drill bits making the diverter easy to install. The reason I gave the kit a 4-star instead of 5 stars, is my concern about the durability of the "accordion" hose connecting the downspout to the barrel. I think a more durable flexible hose might be more durable. Otherwise, this is a very clever product and comes with clear, easy, and complete instructions. VaMos on 18th Jun 2019

Amazing Rain Diverter
I recently ordered and easily installed the rain gutter diverter and hose hook up to my barrel. It rained the next day, filled the entire 50 gallon container up to the level of the hose entrance and excess water diverted back to the gutter as it should! Works really well! Good job Rain Brothers! I like the fact that it works as described and shown on the video. Unknown on 16th May 2019

2nd Purchase
We had such good luck using this kit for our 1st rain barrel (purchased at a Soil and Water Conservation Service event) that we got a 2nd barrel and a 2nd kit this year. Easy hook up and after last night's rain have plenty of water to keep new plants moist without dealing with a hose. Unknown on 25th Apr 2018
