AUTOMATIC CISTERN PUMP KIT

Everything you need to create a reliable pressurized pumping system out of your cistern or spring tank. This package is designed specifically for CABINS, TINY HOMES, AND TRAILER HOMES-- any structure that requires pressurized water but doesn't have room inside for a large pressure tank.

Kit includes:

*Strom Automatic BSP Cistern Pump (WE RECOMMEND SELECTING 1/2HP)

*Floating intake kit

*2-Gallon Amtrol WW Pressure Tank

*1" Stainless steel threaded tee with 3/4" x 1" SS threaded bushing (for connecting pressure tank to indoor plumbing)

*Submersible splice kit

Additionally, the Strom BSP pump has built-in run-dry protection; if the water level gets too low, the pump automatically shuts down and stay down until the pump is unplugged and plugged back in or the breaker supplying power to the pump is turned off and turned back on.

This pump is ideal for small homes/cabins, and for supplying water directly from a cistern/water tank to a frost-free hydrant or spigot.

This pump is not designed to pump long distances uphill (greater than 60') because it will not be able to sense a drop in pressure at the top of the hill since the on/off controls for the pump are internal. To pump uphill, we recommend our Franklin C1 series or Springer Series Cistern Pumps with a pressure tank (locate pressure tank at the top of the hill). Also, this pump is not recommended for drip irrigation systems. Again, for that, we recommend our Franklin C1 or Springer Series Cistern Pumps with pressure tanks. Drip irrigation systems are hard on pumps (they are designed to operate with low flow and low pressure, which are the exact opposite things for which a pump is designed). To supply drip systems, a pressure tank is needed with an external switch to control the pump.
